By accessing or using CitationGuard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using CitationGuard on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.
CitationGuard provides Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) monitoring and optimization services. We scan AI engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) to track brand visibility and generate optimization recommendations. Service availability is subject to the uptime commitments on our Status Page.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
You may not use CitationGuard to: scan prompts for illegal purposes, attempt to reverse-engineer our scan algorithms, exceed rate limits through unauthorized means, or resell the service without a partnership agreement.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. All payments are non-refundable except as required by law. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
CitationGuard is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about specific visibility improvements or citation rates. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may cancel your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for violation of these terms with 7 days notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy.
